Okay, need help. Can someone help me program 2 of my outlets on my Apex? I want to plug both my Maxspect Gyre pumps into them and have alternate, one is on for 6 hours, then shuts off, then other is on for 6 hours, then it shuts off, rinse repeat. I'm confused as hell by the apex programming. I could do it using the "lights" but I'd have to do it for 12 hours, and I want it for 6. Help? Thanks in advance

Here's an example of a program that would do what you want.

Pump 1

Fallback ON
OSC 000:00/360:00/360:00 Then ON

Pump 2
Fallback OFF
OSC 360:00/360:00/360:00 Then ON

OSC 000:00/360:00/360:00 Then ON

Pump 2
Fallback OFF
OSC 360:00/360:00/360:00 Then ON

For pump 2 you more likely want:

Pump 2
Fallback OFF
OSC 360:00/360:00/000:00 Then ON

I think otherwise there would be a period of time where neither pump is running (it would be pump 1 -> pump 2 -> pump 1 -> nothing for 360min).

OSC is the oscillating function - it's in OFF/ON/OFF format

000:00/360:00/360:00 Then ON

This means that it's OFF for 000:00 - so it starts when you start the program / it runs for 360 minutes / then turns off for 360 minutes

The other pump is

360:00/360:00/00:00

So it's off for 360 minutes/ on for 360 minutes / then off

These repeat continuously. So as soon as 360 minutes of ON time is complete for pump 2, the next logic is that it is OFF for 0 minutes. That completes immediately, and then it starts at the beginning of the OSC function again - so it's off for 360 minutes, then back on for 360 minutes, etc....

You could also add logic statements if, for example, you wanted to only have them run from 9am to 9pm.

You would add

"If Time 21:00 to 8:59 then OFF"

First time is first off time / second one is on time / third one is second off time
