First I would like to say Hi. My names Colton. But I got a problem with this algae. I️ think it is dino but I’m not sure. When I️ wake up in the morning it is mostly gone water is clear. But towards the end of the day it gets bad while the lights are on. I don’t have bad parameters nitrates and phosphates are zero or close to it. Salinity is 1.025 temp 77.4 I’ve got a protein skimmer that is decent it’s a flu fluval evo 13.5 Nano tank. One clown, one shrimp 6 snails four corals one rock anemone that is not doing well. B/c my shrimp tried to mess with him. So I’ve thought about doing a blackout for a few days but didn’t know if y’all had any experience with this stuff. I also got one tiny snowflake eel and I know I will probably hear it in the comments you shouldn’t have that. In there and yes I know but he is not a long term resident I’m only keeping him for three or four months because rn he is about as skinny as a pencil. And no he is not the reason I got algae problems I’ve had this b4 Igot him and it’s actually seems more tamed down since he has arrived. Again I’m not keeping him in my tank long I just always wanted an eel and in three months on my bday I’m going to trade him in for some coral. But any advice on this algae would be very much appreciated.

It would be worth if you can post some more photos and parameters such as n03 and po4.

I’m sure you aren’t going to want to hear it but I really recommend you get rid of the eel.
