Hi, I just purchased a 36" current orbit led. I had one before on my 46g tank and then had to move so I sold everything. While I had it that one I wasn't able to spend time in getting it program due to family issues. Once I got settled in the new place I decided I didn't want to go without a tank so I did some research on a few different lights and I guess I feel for the money the current was the best one. I'm still having issues to customize the setting so reading so many post and reviews I have not found a good source to program the remote to my liking. I don't like the preset timer as the light is too bright and start turning my tank brown.

So I could use some help in getting this program.

Thanks
Linda

Thanks that's why I hesitated to get it again but it's the only one out there with all the functions. Hopefully I'll find time to get it right. I know it can be done as my son got one and got it the way he wanted

Ok, I think I got the timing going right. Need to do some tweaking on it. Wasn't home last night to see what it did after hours. I'm home tonight so I'll see what it going to do.

I am an owner of this LED on a standard 29g and I really like it- price point and its capabilities. Most says it is not enough for Reef and I think it does. Let me know if I can assist on setting it.

That would be great. I was able I think get the timing correct although haven't been home a full day yet. The thing that I would like is the intensity of the white light lower in the timing schedule as it is too bright for the 13" depth of the tank. Again thank you for your help

First, is to select from the pre-sets. I have the Timer M1 selected for example.
Aim the remote at the Ramp timer, press Timer M1 then press ch2 which is the White then press the Min intensity then press minute - to lower down the intensity or the Hour + to increase, wait for few seconds.
If you want to verify the Intensity you programmed, press Timer M1 then press ch2 then Min Intensity and % should appear then press Enter.

That's odd. You have to press the Timer M1 for couple seconds. Ramp
timer should be blinking.

I use the 18 in model of this light with exact timer. I find it able to grow everything. No amazingly fast growth but I'm able to keep acros and anemones with no issues in a bio cube. I also use the preset timer m1 and have no algae issues. That's 10hrs at max intensity. I have the whites at 70 and blues 90.

Thanks for everyone help, still having difficulties with getting the intensity lowered. At this point I don't have anything in it still going through the cycling process so I have time to get it right. Just finding the time to do it. I'm still at a live in care taking job that takes me away from home. Hopefully next week I get someone in so I can live at home LOL

I know this is late but if you haven't figured it out yet, after you program it you have to press and hold the timer button (ie M1) for about 5-10 secs till it flashes on the screen. This locks your new program to the timer present. Press and hold default to revert back
