Hello Reefers!
I’ve been fighting this algae for a while. My parameters are as follows:
Ph 8.2
Salinity: 1.025
Alk: 11.0
Nitrate: 0.3 ppm
Phosphate: 0.11 ppm
Magnesium: 1450 ppm

I just started adding some NeoNitro and Reef Biofuel as my nitrates were at 0 and phosphates were also almost 0.

I have quite a lot of different CUC helpers and recently added a sea hare who is doing well but I’m not sure he’s eating this stuff.

All corals seem to be doing fine which is the good news! Tank is about 1.5 years old at this point.

So any help identifying whether this is hair algae or cyano or dynos would be greatly appreciated.

I would vacuum out the dinos. Leave some of the GHA so it outcompetes the possible dinos. Vacuum them daily or atleast every few days, once they seem to slow down then you can deal with the GHA.

If you take it all out too quickly dinos can outcompete them all.
