I tested my 3 levels yesterday.
Alk was 8.29
Cal was 445
Mag was 1365
I went to the reef calculator and put in what my levels were and what my desired levels were.
Alk was 8.29. I want alk at 8.5 so I dosed 40.1 of the esv alkalinity. I checked just now and alk was still 8.29 tested with the Hanna alk checker.
Cal was 455. My desired number is/was 460. I dosed 1/3 of the recommended dosage using esv cal. Just checked and cal went down to 410
Mag was 1365. My desired number was/is 1400. So I dosed the recommended amount. Mag is now 1320.
Now I know there is a balance between the 3. Could someone explain to me what I need to do to reach/achieve my desired numbers please.

Did you dose all three at the same time?

It's best to space them out. If you dose at the same time, or overdose your #'s can drop from precipitation. (Ions binding together)
