I have hundreds of these tiny wormlike things on my glass, mostly the bottom third. They’re about 1/8 of an inch long. They move around and have a slightly thicker head/front that tapers at the tail.

anyone know what they are and if they’re safe? If not, how can I eradicate them.

tanks been setup over a year.

thanks

hi, Is it possible for you to take photos under white lights Please, that look like worms to me, but not sure exactly what they are. Can be some sort of slugs as well (nudibranchs)/mollusks.
even if you can take one/few of them out of the water and place it in clear pot with small amount of water and place it over white paper or something like, after get another photos (with and w/o flash from the camera). Also sometimes Videos can be better to ID something like. (if you can zoom maximum at clear focus)

It may be some kind of small ribbon worm (phylum Nemertea), but I'm not sure...

Are this brown ?
Asking because I have infestation of similar one which is eating my Berghia nudi eggs and can't get anything from there. Hope isn't the same one, I'll try to take photo of them tomorrow under microscope (under 1mm 1/32", some reach a bit more)
planaria like. (check planarian flatworm + saltwater / sea / reef on google, and try to compare with your one)

I would say they are brown/tan color.

Think I’m going to need a microscope as well to get a decent pic. Definitely not planarian/flatworm. I’ve seen those before, unless there’s a variety with much different body shape.
