Hello everyone!

I´m not completely new too this hobby. However I would still like som advice with my stocking plan for my new 45 gallon tank.

At the moment my fish list looks like this:

2 x Ocellaris Clownfish(mated pair)
1 x Midas Blenny
1 x Bicolor Blenny
1 x Orchid Dottyback
1 x Wrasse(Yellow Wrasse?)

I see a potential problem with adding two Blennys to this tank. Would they live peacefully together or will there be agression between them? I also would like to add a pistol shrimp goby pair, if possible.

Any thoughts on this fishlist?

My aquascape looks like this. Not filled with water yet.

Hello and welcome to R2R! Nice aquascape, looks like you've got a really great setup! Your list looks good except for the two blennies and maybe the wrasse. Liveaquaria recommends 50g for a yellow wrasse, but you could maybe try asking in the wrasse lovers thread under fish discussion, you're likely to find someone there with personal experience. Even if a yellow wrasse won't work, there are plenty of other wrasse that will be happy in a 45g

Most fish do not like others of the same type in the tank with them unless they're a bonded pair. It can work sometimes in really big tanks but I think you're right to be cautious with two blennies in a smaller tank. Hopefully someone else with more blenny experience than me will chime in soon!

Thank you, I´m quit happy with how my aquascape turned out. I will do some more research on my stocking plan:-) I also might even start a build thread:-)
