Need help with my sump algae grow

Very new to tanks in general was givin a salt cube tank 40g by a military friend who was deployed and told me the tanks urs. He had a kessil a80 in sump area for algae grow which ive read isnt the best. Its been running 24/7 since i took it over about 4 weeks ago and ive been dosing a capful of micro bacter startxlm. Can any1 tell me if its supposed to look like this(trying to grow chaeto). My numbers are
Salinity 1.025
Alk 6.8
Ph 7.9
Phosphate 1.4
Calcium 448
Magnesium 1292
Ammonia .1
Nitrate .1
Nitrate 44

Chaeto algae should be bright green, long strands, and interwoven together. Should be running refugium lights opposite aquarium lights.

Why don’t you see if you can trade a80 for a Kessil refugium light?

I run the tuna blue. Just add a little more blue to the light spectrum. Try 12 hours.

sorry to have it just straight dumped on you without information, but our military is important as well. tank needs a water change and filter cleaning first off, nitrate and phosphates show that because they are way too high. If there are corals in the tank parameters will need to be altered even more, specifically alk and calcium and magnesium.
try a 12hour on 12 off schedule

Alright i can do that!! Looking at that picture should i dose anything or be worried? Atm only thing that has changed is i increased the amount i feed the fish daily. Should i go dark in sump to get it under control or just switch to opposite lighting of aquarium and be ok?

Is kessil refugiumn wifi enabled and have a app? I would love to get everything synced up via wifi so i know im getting the exact color i want for cheato
