System: 108 gallon heavily stocked sps dominate predator tank.

Current skimmer: Dalua GW-12 dc

I am currently running the skimmer with a small amount of ozone daily.

I am looking at the following skimmer:
- Reef octopus regal-150 int:

- Reef Octopus Elite 150 SSS

- Ultra Reef Akula - UKS - 200 DC

- other recommendations

Would it be worth it to change skimmers?
If so what would you recommend?

Definitely not a fan of space saving skimmer designs so the regal easily gets my vote.

There isn't a skimmer pump out there that doesn't need to be serviced and having to haul out the entire skimmer just to access the pump is a huge pain compared to any that are connected on the outside.

Do keep in mind that there is a non space saving model of the reef octopus elite that has a better air silencer (compared to the regal) if air draw noise is a concern.

I'm finding this article just in time as I'm considering an Elite 150-S myself. Curious how you have liked servicing the gw-12 and what your overall thoughts on it are? Also, have you made a decision as to what skimmer you're going with?

I would get the regal 150-ext even better. External skimmers are more stable.
