Need help with water change

So i have a 60 gallon tank and changed 25 gallons of water. Is it ok to rinse out my filter pads or should i wait till tomorrow?

While my tank is draining during a water change, I take the opportunity to clean the skimmer cup, change filter socks and filter pads and do some sandbed sifting. Just like to "start fresh" after I refill with fresh SW and restart the system again.

No was wondering why they were changing 25 gallons in a 60 gallon tank.

New tank or nitrate, phosphate issues is the only thing I could think of.

So I have a 30 tall reef been running a few months now what is the avg water change I should be doing? Next I have a 90 fish only "most locally caught while fishing" how much should I change on that?
