LFS mystery LPS — Favia or Favites?
Picked this up from my local LFS with no ID on the frag plug. LFS called it a Favia but looking at the macro shots I’m not convinced. The corallites look like they may be sharing walls which would point toward Favites.
Care has been identical either way — stable alk 7.7 dKH, calcium 500 ppm, weekly Reef Roids target feeding, moderate flow and light. It’s been in the tank 4 weeks and is already encrusting beyond the frag plug edges.
Anyone able to confirm from these photos?
