A buddy at my LFS gave me a very small patch of some culearpa ( sorry if it’s misspelled ) and I put it in my sump on top of my bio xport plate and put a refugium grow light over it.
The culearpa seems to be doing good it has sent out several runners and has some new “leaves” growing on one of the runners.

But what is the fuzzy stuff growing that is holding the air bubbles?? Is it hair algae?
