You definitely don’t need an expensive light for chaeto. I use the jbj nano glo 4, costs about 50-60$ And works great.

I don't.
When I decide to replace them, every 3-4 years ( usually when the clamp-on fixture starts looking bad from the salt environment), I go shopping at the store to see which is the best deal.
I look specifically for spot light style, 90 to 100 watt equivalent, and 5k color range ( daylight).

I use 2 sets on my 233's sump and 1 set on my 66's sump.
