So I put a fire fish in my 29 gallon bio cube and one of my current fish decided to case him around enough to make him jump into the back of my sump where my return pump is. I can't seem to get a net in there to get home out because the space is really small. Anyone have any advise?

They sell small 3" brine shrimp net that should fit that space and allow you to capture him.

That's good to to know. If the fish is hiding under the pump how should I get him out? I don't want to pull the pump out unless I really need to.

You will probably have to take the pump out to get the firefish.

Are you removing the bully before putting the firefish back in? Otherwise, this just might be practice for getting him out of the back again.

I wish I could move the bully to another setup but sadly I don't have anything to put him in so the fire fish will have to live in the sump for a while i guess.

Might want to get rid of the fire fish if you want to keep the bully. Living in that little sump back there can't be very good.

^ I have done this, it needs to be a wide diameter tubing though or else you end up with a fish half way through the tube, not pretty.

I'm going to try the siphon idea and see how that goes. Hopefully he won't wnd up going back into the sump once I get him out.
