I have a 92 gal corner tank that I need some advise on where to postion my 2 powerheads . It has a single locline output and was thinking about a scwd .Thought about buying wavemakers instead or does the scwd work for this issue? Thanks Kim:smile:

I would think you have 2 options depending on your scape and corals
Either place one on each side of the overflow aiming at the opposite corner so the flow meets in the middle or
Place one in each opposite corner aiming across the tank once again meeting in the middle

Obviously though your scape and coral placement will dictate that some, and also the type, flow, and whether they are on a controller or not will all impact your choice

Unless you have a huge return pump it will not count much into your flow scheme so the one return can be aimed where it would most compliment your powerheads

Thanks for the help I have them placed on each side of the overflow I have too much flow or not enough..Not sure if maybe I need to try something else to help with coral growth .

Mine are on each side facing each other with alternate currents. You have to figure out how strong a flow that your corals enjoy without being blown away. I am using mp 40's and i had to dial them back to keep them from blowing my corals off the rock. It just takes some time to observe and see what makes them happy.
