So my wife says "you know the 55 gallon tank is kind of blah, it has no color." Thanks, babe! So now I am looking for some help in finding some peaceful fish that will add color and not create an issue with the fish I already have. Below is what I currently have. Any suggestions on colorful, peaceful fish?

2 PJ Cardinals
2 Bengaii Cardinals
2 Chromis
1 Purple firefish
1 Firefish
1 Yellow Tang

Flasher wrasses. You could use some red/orange. For the money can't beat a McCoskers.

Just purchased a red flaming angel. Beautiful red and blue colors. Also, a few weeks back my buddy gave me a Solon Fairy Wrasse, another beautiful peaceful fish.

Are you keeping any inverts? If you are and don't already have one get a skunk cleaner shrimp, the blast of red is nice.

Royal Gramma is also a nice punch of color

As to the flame angle mentioned they are very nice but can be aggressive and often pick on corals.

The Royal Gramma needs some space, he will defend the area he settles in from most fish, but as long as you have room and plenty or rock cave areas it should not be a problem. Mine is a big scaredy-cat.
