Need some help / advice on my anemone

Help. Wednesday (2 days ago) my husband screamed 'come in here fast' and I ran to my 120 gal reef tank. My anemone was being attacked by several very large copepods. They were literally playing, what can only be described as a game of tug-a-war, with it's tentacles. I quickly scooped him out of the tank and put him in a bowl of water from the tank. I took him up to my LFS and the owner was out, but an employee said they had no way to care for him so I had to bring him home. Worse yet, he said he had NEVER seen copepods attack a anemone and I felt like he was saying I was lying till my husband said he too saw the horrible site. I brought it home and cleaned out a 13 gal EVO tank and put him in there. I have since talked to the LFS owner who said she would be happy to nurse it if I brought it back in. I would like to take care of it myself if possible. I have read about getting cipro from the local farm store. Not sure if I should do that. I have also read not to feed it for a week (which is hard being a nurse). What should I do? Just wait and see? Take him into the LFS? Pray? ( already doing that) Pictures attached. Several tentacles are missing (more than half). P.S.-Being new to a large Reef aquarium just 4 months, (but almost 3 years with a smaller saltwater aquarium), I know that having saltwater critters can be a vicious environment. But I have really tried to keep peaceful critters for the first 5 yrs. I didn't even add the copepods, they must have hitchhiked in on something. I have since purchased a yellow (silver belly) wrasse.

They normally only feed on dead and/or dying tissue.
Oh.. and just how big were these copepods? Most are quite small. Are you thinking amphipods? Did you by chance get a picture?

I have not heard of this , would love to see a pic of them if you can. I have experienced my nems missing tentacles before - in the pic under clownfish on right I have a nem who lost half of its tentacles for no reason - they are growing back albeit with little zooanthelle

I said I thought the mouth on the wrasse was too small to eat them, but the owner of the LFS said it definitely could.

I'm willing to bet that the your anemone's ailment is not directly due to the amphipods but something else. What are your tank parameters? What type of lighting and flow? How long have you had the anemone?
