Need some help finding material. DIY Skimmer Project

I have a skimmer project going on, and I need some help finding where to buy A Rubbermaid 1gallon jar, and the same thing in half gallon, target did not have them, so I'm wondering If anyone has seen them. Thanks

Well now I'm looking for input, does anyone have any ideas what type of container I could use in substitution of the 1gallon jar? DIY Skimmer guys please give some suggestions. Also the plans didn't call for a certain GPH pump to use, any suggestions? thanks guys

Amazon is out of stock. If they don't have them maybe there's a problem with everybody getting them.

I believe they were discontinued, which was why I was asking for suggestions on things I could use as an alternative instead of that jar, the only place that sells them charges more than the jars worth to ship lol and that isn't practical

Go to Sams club or walmart and look for some bulk food in the jar you need.. I have seem many types of cheese puffs and stuff in gallon sized jars.. I dont know how thick the rubbermaid jars are or what is so special about them, but I would just start looking at the supermarket when you are there.

I didn't think about that, I might actually have a pretzel jar, if I use a jar that's bigger than the one in the design will I have problems or no?

During the spring time, the acrylics come out at Target and Walmart. Right now, the Walmarts near me have acrylic pitchers that will make nice cone skimmers. The bowl used in my skimmer is a spring/summer only item.

Wow! Nice skimmer! For mine I used someone else's design so I'm gonna have To order the beckett housing instead of making my own pump I think but good build and that does help me get ideas
