Agree with the post above but on the pdf you posted there is nothing in the red. I could be reading it wrong though.

It really seems like some of these ICP reports are designed to confuse the user. Is there really a benefit of 16 different ratio values to monitor.

it is pretty confusion like it is saying my iodine is too high but is there any proper way to lower ?

Have you been adding Iodine? Seems strange it would be high considering corals uptake Iodine and several other trace elements that would tend to be depleted unless you are Adding those nutrients and putting in more than your tank is using.

Good rule of thumb is to NEVER add anything to your reef tank unless you are testing for it before and after.

I have to say I’m terribly unimpressed with the way the data in the link is analyzed. I also gave up after reading through page after page trying to find a simple table of numbers. I’ll have to try the pdf, but that too is a pain on a phone.

Did they really mean this sentence?

What is this: The carbonate hardness, correctly called alkalinity of the water, is an undefined sum parameter which is very important for reef aquaristics.

Undefined? Really? Hopefully it’s a translation error.

Are you dosing calcium? It is way too high. Stop dosing it.

Potassium is very low. I’d dose it by itself.

Zinc is very high. Metal parts in the water? Overdosed?

Tin is high.
Potassium at 454 would be high in my book.

I think your salinity is too high, making a lot of your other elements high in relation. Calcium, potassium, boron, strontium are all on the high side.

The other issue I see, if I’m reading that pdf correctly, is that you are very near 0 on both nitrate and phosphate.

Apparently my concern about reading pdf’s on my phone is well founded. I was seeing potassium at 254 ppm and calcium over 1,000, but it looks like that was a different pdf from a different user. I’ll delete my comment.

Ok, looking at the right odfp, the main issue looks to me to be nutrients too low, but that’s the zeovit strategy.

It might or might not benefit from some trace elements.

they are telling me the iodine is super high which i cannot find the way to reduce it

It’s not super high and it’s not a problem. Just do not add more.

i am currently using fauna marin salt . should i be using another company salt ?
