Salinity might be a tad low (recommend 1.0026). Phos might be a tad high but I have seen mine this high without much negative effect on LPS (sps could be a different story though). Is the flame angel messing with it (picking at it), they have been known to mess with lps. Also have you fed it anything in a while?

My guess would be the angel fish is your problem....I had to remove a coral beauty angel because it became a coral predator after two years of what I thought was perfect citizenship.

Yea I'm raising the SG back up with 15g WC. Should be back up with the next one. I haven't seen the flame pick at it. I'll have to pay more attention and get the better half to watch also. I've been feeding it mysis shrimp, tried scallops the other day and tried silversides. Would you recommend something else? Thanks for the reply.

Dang I hope I don't have to move him. I got him for a steal only $25. I'm getting a 57g tank here in a month or so and will be putting him in there.

I've heard of that behaviour before from a coral beauty. Although I haven't heard of the same from a flame angel before. That being said all fish have different personalities. As long as your angel is well fed they don't often go after corals. Of course he could just have a mean spirited personality and wants to do mean things :p. I have a pygmy angel I am watching around my zoas myself.

I was going to say I hear of flames nipping more than any other pigmy angel. Angels are a major PIA to catch, this is how I caught mine.

Buy a clear 2 liter of soda.
Pour the soda in another container.
Cut the top off the empty bottle just past where the bottle becomes a constant radius.
Cut a whole in the just removed top big enough for the angel to swim in.
Put the top back in the bottle but reversed, so the hole is inside the tank.
Put some rocks, tank water, and the angels favorite food in the bottle.
Put the bottle at the bottom of your tank and wait for the angel to go in and eat.
Even though the fish should get hung up in the reversed lid put your bet over the hole and remove the bottle and fish.

Thanks I've done the 2L bottle trick. Luckily for me we're moving into our house in two weeks so I'll just take him out for now and either trade him in or set up a small tank for now until my 57 is finish.
