I’m putting together what I hope will be a pretty cool build in a second fish room. I was evicted from garage storage, but was offered free rent in this unused space in my own home :)

Tank is 48x48x18. I’ll have to double check, but I think the top of the Eurobrace is 44” off the ground.

For those of you that don’t know my build thread or my system, I have hardcore lighting that puts about 550-600 par at the sand bed. I plan to have a similarly intense footprint. Actually. It will likely be more intense. Picture of my current display light rack and the look down tank are included here.

Ok so - tank will be 100% SPS, likely Acro only, bare bottom. So, I plan on using 4 cayman Sun metal halide 250w (14k) fixtures T5s and LED bars. The T5s will be 2 four foot twin bulb aquatic life fixtures with KZ new gen bulbs. Now, I have a ton of Reefbrite light bars that I have taken off halide fixtures that are brand new. So using these could be an option. But I would have zero control of the fixture. I was thinking 2-3 light bars so I could do something similar to my main display - full spectrum while the halides are on then it switches to blues for viewing pleasures. I do not want a Mobius controlled device. (I’m going to swap my XR30s for different light on my main display, I hate Mobius). I was looking at Orphek. What would you guys recommend?
