needing advice on lots of stuff

hello everyone, i have currently taking over 2 beautiful reef tanks for someone that will be away for a very long time. i have one of my own on the past but these have lots of thing on them i never seen before.i will be posting pics soon so you all can see what im dealing with.

Did the person your taking them over for tell you what they do that could be the best start or advise to get. As long as things are going good I those tanks why change
