Well, after searching thru everything and contacting my halide fixture company (Hamilton), I still need anyone to help me. I am trying to find out what ballast that I have running my hanging fixture. My fixture has 3 250 SE halides and 2 VHO. I purchased the used fixture at a lfs. I'm looking to find out what type of ballast I have so I can purchase new lights. I made the mistake of buying off ebay and getting 3 250 20k se halides, and let's just say that after looking at info throughout here and seeing a few pics, my corals, fish and me are all missing out. Any help with the ballast and a good suggestion for which lights wold be great. The lighting I'm looking for would be for a mixed reef, mainly lps, but pushing the sps button soon and looking for that :)wow:) in corals. Lighting is over a 125 long and 12 inches above water.
