after much looking around and going back and forth I think I’ve decided on ordering 2 Straton Xs for my 48x24x16 sps tank, coming from halides. One of the main factors was the recent WWC videos where they spotlighted @underwaterwonders and more specifically one of their customers that was using the older gen 2 pro Strattons. I’ve been looking around and can’t find any of those for sale, so the next best thing I guess is the X. The color of his tank was incredible and I’m wondering if anyone has any experience with the two lights or of the Straton X users could chime in with how the lights look under a whiter spectrum say 14k halide or so. That’s what I currently have on my tank and it looks like the Straton gen 2 pros get pretty close to that. With ATI being a German brand and the Euro tanks usually running a whiter spectrum I’m sure I’ll like the look but would like to see some pics of a few tanks under them before fully pulling the trigger.
