Have read years' worth of online posts cautioning care if considering using Phosguard in reef tanks but can find little to nothing regarding negative user experiences relative to SPS. Does anyone have any such negative experiences/cautions to report relative to SPS only? BTW...I can't, for reasons I won't go into, be able to use GFO.

I ran it for years on my sps reef with no problems. I recently pulled it because it was getting pricey and switched to bio pellets. I ran it in a brs dual reactor. You just want to make sure it doesn't tumble in the reactor. And if it wasn't rinsed properly it will make the water cloudy but that will go away in a day usually but it doesn't have any ill effects.
