Hey guys so i just turned my light on in my tank and my nem did this? He’s normal now but it just looked super wierd any ideas

Might it have been extended for night (plankton) feed with the lights off? With the lights on, it might be closing up so it minimizes the amount of light the symbiotic algae gets? It looks really pale, could your lights bee too intense?

Nothing to worry about in my opinion if it looks healthy most of the time. They will expand, shrink, shrivel up, expel waste and all sorts of other strange things. As long as it goes back to normal in a few hours there is usually nothing to worry about.
