Today's update; now touching the rock that I've strategically placed below. Will another Candy Cane attach to that rock perhaps? Curious!!!

More updates to pur Candy Cane spawn.

The spawn blobs dropped off of the Candy Cane about a week ago and landed in the sand, in shaded areas. Each day each blob piece would swell, just like a real Candy Cane, so it sure looked like they were alive. You can see one little blob in the sand here, the others are in a crack behind the rock (photo from last week)

Yesterday we decided to place the spawn blobs on a frag plug and mount them to a rock to see how they'd do in a bit more optimum location. We tried to glue the boney parts, instead of the blobby parts. We'll see! Its all wicked interesting tho!

And the mother Candy Cane is reforming itself nicely.
