Nepthea Coral help

I got a small frag of neon green nepthea from a local reefer and it hasn't opened in 5 days. There is cyano that was on it's stalk and is now growing over a few of the lower closed up polyps, but I have read that bothering the coral at this point will only keep it closed up longer. Should I try to remove the cyano, and if so, whats the best way to do it without bothering the coral too much? I've tried the turkey baster method but the cyano clings on pretty well.

Move it to a medium flow area to help itself shed. Use the turkey baster to blast the cyano off, it won't hurt the coral, don't worry.

Ive blasted it to the point it fell off and I had the glue it back on a few days ago, I might as well try a pressure washer at this point
