Neptunde awc and auto top off!

I just finish setting up my neptune awc, its working great i chose manual mode 30 gallons. I would like to do my 30 gallons monthly to do them at once with my neptune dos, my question is do i leave my ato off all that time the awc running? Wouldnt that cause salinity issues?

I mean for the awc to work to finish a 30G irs gonna be off 24 hours

Id be more concerned about the salinity imbalance from the pumps.
They are not perfect devices and calibration will change over time.
When i did awcs i did 1% daily, checking salinity weekly.

I switched it to do 5G a day, from 8 am to 12:00 pm. My ato going to be off by that time. Do u think that would impact salinity!

The great thing about AWC is that you can do a little each day. Instead of doing 30 gallons at once you could do 1 gallon a day and your system will be more stable. For my 100 gallon I change out 1.5 gallons a day which works out to about 10% a week. If I need to adjust my salinity I increase by 100 ml daily on either the add or the remove depending on the desired adjustment.

Even 24 hours is ok. Many reefers do their top off once a day or longer.
