The siphon break should be installed in your ATO reservoir

I’ll get some pictures when I get home.

If the siphon break is in the ATO tank with RO water, won’t the water just shoot back in the RO tank and not go into the sump? Since that’s the earliest point of exit won’t it just shoot out of the hole in the siphon break and not go all the way to the sump?

Thanks

It will bit it’s very small and Lil the point of it is to break the siphon with any minimal
Air going in in case it goes on reverse you don’t want your tank to drain out since you have a line from the ATO in your sump

I’ll try to get a video of it setup and see what happens. I’ll move it to my sump and point the hole down and see what happens.

Thanks

It should be in your reservoir but above the water line in the reservoir.

My reservoir is a 10 gallon tank when it’s full it cannot be above the water line as there is no room at all.

So should it go in the reservoir or the sump then?

Thanks

For it to work, it needs to be above the water line of the reservoir. If you don't want it in the reservoir, then you can put it in the sump. But you have to make sure the water spraying out will not hit any thing electronic and short stuff out.

Or you can put the break as high as possible and fill the reservoir up to 8 or 9 gallons.

Hey everyone,

It was running perfect, but now I am getting errors...

Not sure what is going on? The pump turns on if I turn the ATK on and I hear it running throughout the day. Does the run time need to be longer? I adjust that to 7 minutes in the advance code already.

Any ideas?

Thanks
