Neptune Apex connection issues

I have an Apex on my large aquarium and picked up another used head unit, power bar, probes etc. I tried to hook it up to my existing account under another tank name since it’s for my frag tank and can’t get the blue light to add the unit. Any ideas?

Have you tried a hard reset the used Apex you have bought? There's guidance here on how to do it.
