Ok, so for a few months I have been having random spikes in temp, pH, and amps. I have noticed it first on the temp probe. So I swapped that out with a new one. I thought that solved the issue, but I was wrong. Also, when the temp and pH spike, I don't get an alarm, and the heater doesn't seem to come on. Also, like, it knows it's a false reading. I have emailed Neptune, and they said my head unit is bad with no explanation; just buy a new Apex. Sounds fishy; I'm not buying it. Any thoughts?

2 sensors failing at the same time points to a common issue, the apex itself. Might have a ground plane dropping out internally or something. I diagnose cars for a living, and if I had a recorded image of 2 sensors failing simultaneously, I would be looking to condemn the computer.

Thank you for your input I tend to agree. I messaged neptune and they are useless they said about buying a new head unit and I mentioned about the amp spike on the eb832 and they said to send it in for repair with no troubleshooting?

Does anyone have any ideas i can do for troubleshooting other than neptunes fix and just replace everything.? Thank you

The only time I’ve had a similar-ish issue is when we had a few transient brown outs due to a failing transformer stressed by excessive summer temps. Weird spikes/dips on probes and erroneous and comically high amp readings.

After several of these events over the course of a month or two I started checking my power. I was only getting 85-90v at the panel. Called the power company. They came out same day to verify, and then replaced the transformer the next day. No problems since.

I also keep getting this random graph that says new tile found then it shows me this graph after about a day it disappears.

I have checked incoming power line voltage, ground and grounding are all checking out.
