Its unfortunate but the level of support from Neptune had not been great for me.
Their stuff is expensive, and nice when it works.
But issues are inevitable.
My house gets very brief power outages regularly.
A while back the display module would not start, was only backlit (orange). I contacted Neptune support, and a couple days later they were able to run some basic telnet commands to fix the issue. Took about 5 minutes for them.
And before i could add a battery backup it happened again. The display module is doing the same thing.
While troubleshooting i removed the module from the Apex dashboard. And it is not being recognized when plugged back in.
Does anyone know the telnet commands to clear out a dead module?
I posted on the Apex forums about a month or so ago asking for this same thing. No response.
I find it very unfortunate this information is not easy to come by, or shared by them freely.
I am getting very frustrated with Neptune Systems. I also have a new Trident NP that stopped working. Opened it up and a pinch valve was completely broken.
No technical info, or internal parts for any of their products are easy to come by.
For the Trident NP, since its new i am sure its covered by warranty. But i would rather not go through the hassle or answering the basic dumb questions before they believe me that the pinch valve is broken. So have one on order, which i am sure will fix the issue.
With the Display Module - i am stuck.
I know how to telnet into it. Just don't know the proper commands once i am in.
