So I took this Dos off another system I was running. It was working fine and then I connected it to the same apex and energy bar but just on a different tank. Apex is running fine. It's reading ph and temp. Initially the DOS was working. I was able to connect it and turn it on manually and control it with the apex.

I noticed there needed to be an update on the apex and dos so I did that. After the update on the apex the DOS got all wacky on me. The apex updated but the system still says the software is old on the DOS. I tried updating DOS, (I may have interrupted the update) and now the apex says there is no connection to the dos. I can't even update it. The DOS has 2 green flashing lights and the left motor will spin randomly like it's initializing but it never does finish. Maybe it got stuck trying to update??

I've tried to plug it on a different apex still does the same thing. I tried a different cable samething. I tried turning off the power and playing around with power cycling the apex and dos...nothing. what's weird is the apex recognizes it as it created two new panels so it knows its there but when I try to update it, it says not attached. This must be some sort of corrupt software??
Anyone got any ideas and please don't ask me if I changed out cables and tried turning it off and on😡.

Here's a video of it. Flashing green, left motor spins randomly. It's connected to apex and new tiles came up but when I try to update it apex says not attached so I don't have the option to update. Was working fine before but this problem happened after trying to update both apex and DOS. I've tried power cycling and new cable... Nothing help me!

Anybody? I guess I'll have to start a ticket with Neptune

I would try deleting the module itself. Then restart the apex brain and then plug it all back in and see what happens.

How do I permanently delete it

Okay thanks. So if anyone is following, I deleted all the modules that we'rent being used, deleted the eb832 module, deleted the DOS module. Then apex, eb832 and dos were unplugged and power cycled. Then it finally got connection and I was able to update and works now. Thanks you have to go to modules - configuration - delete.

Good to hear. Just an fyi it’s better to reboot your apex via command don’t know now long the capacitors hold power when unplugged. You can find the reboot option at the bottom it you click on the wrench icon.

Good to know. I learned a few things today
