I have a 20 gallon IM fusion AIO. I am in wits end on where to mount my DOS? How far below the main tank (no sump) can I place the DOS? What can I do to avoid any reverse siphone or will there be any with the DOS?

The DOS can push or pull water over quite a long distance; I am pushing water almost 50 feet. The dosing heads prevent a siphon. What are you looking to do with it?

Keep the output above the water line in the aquarium. Could put the pump on the floor if you want but mounted above the dosing container is good. Below the aquarium is fine.

My option would be mounting the DOS about 1.5 to 3 feet below the top of my tank which the output is going to.
Will be dosing Ca and Alk

Not a problem. I have my OOS about 2 feet below the sump and about 5 feet away. No issues. Like TheDon wrote, keep the output above the waterline and you'll have no back siphoning issue.
