Hey anyone here with a Neptune Dos that can answer a question for me? I plan on having 2 Neptune Dos for my 360 Gallon Build to automate water changes and top offs. I am just curious; do I need to pump water to the Neptune Dos or is it able to take from a barrel and pump to my tank?

Picks up from my salt vats no problem maybe 5 foot of lift from bottom of vat to the pump on the wall. It then pushes the water 60 foot thru my attic to the tank works like a champ. Just keep an eye on them so they don't drift. If they do quick calibration and let them rip. Good luck!

Mine work great, loud yes, but I am also pushing max changing 5g in a 4hr period. I just replaced the pump heads after 1 year of doing this every day. Exceeded the recommended change interval. Very pleased.

DOS has a nice draw and will pull liquid on its own
