Neptune Fish Feeder question

So I got a new lid for my tank so I can keep wrasses. My Neptune feeder now dumps all the pellets on the lid rim not thru the screen there does not appear to be a way to adjust it. Any one solved this problem DIY or is there an after market adapter???
