I have this flow meter, behind my tank hard plumbed to my Uv sterilizer. Its been running for over a year, no issues. Lately i noticed theres salt creep around it. On the threads. I never catch it leaking, dripping but i always see salt creep. Its genuinely making me wonder where its coming from.
I made a mistake when i glued the flow meter i use pvc glue, not a thread seal which probably played part of it. Its behind the tank,. I didnt think about it when i installed it. To remove the flow meter i have to remove the whole plumbing behind the tank, its actually crazy how tight the area is. But lesson learned for next time.
My question to you guys, do i leave and let the salt creep seals it from the inside ? And usually if im seeing salt creep doesnt that means the water dying up, leave that salt behind it? And it it was an actual waterfall i wouldnt see the creep? Thank you
