Hi all,
Currently have 1" Neptune flow meters on my return, 57w twist UV and teco 2000 chiller. All has 32mm metric plumbing and induvial pumps.
I'm in the process of getting custom built sump made and my question is should i keep the sensors or remove them.
My return is driven by a COR20 and will max out at around 600GPH as per the flow meter, however Id expect it to be closer to double once factoring in the head height and wondering if the flow meters are actually a restriction give they are 1" and look like they get much smaller inside.

My plan is to run a ecotech L2 for the return and a second for chiller, fuge, and uv.
 
Yes. They are a flow restriction.
