neptunes AFS mod question!

so in the most recent reef builders video the gentleman had moved the usb on the AFS to the side instead of the back. i was wondering if anyone else has done this mod. it would finally let me put my AFS on the back of my tank instead of the side. if anyone has any pointers on how to do this please share!

Can’t you just use a right angle usb Adaptor?

I guess that may work. I’ll try this before I try taking apart the feeder

Looks like the housing was cut and electrical tape was put around the outlet to "seal" it with the body. You can pretty easily solder in a USB female receptacle into a housing if at all handy with a soldering iron.
