I’ve had this Nero 5 for about a year and a half and I’m getting a red blinking light. When I unplug and plug backs in you can see it try to spin then stop. I have it soaking in vinegar now. Any guidance? The wire that connects to the power head itself looks like it been chewed open or dissolved I can see the inner wires.

FWIW, I had the same thing happened. I cleaned it real good and it started working again.

I have 3 Nero 3s . They can get gummed up easily, though they’re my favorite wavemaker. Take it apart and clean thoroughly. Se if that works. My biggest worry is the exposed wiring. Not sure how, but it need to be covered again.

I think some shrink wrap might be an ok bet

+1 on this. This most of the time solves it. I also reboot my neros on the myAi app.
I sometime have physically unplug/replug the power cord where it goes into the network connection point
