I'm just about to pull the trigger on Nero but am unsure if I should get the 3 or the 5? I have a loaded lps 50 gallon 4' tank and want to be sure that I don't overpower it. Thanks for your time with this.

Definitely the 5’s. I keep having issues with the 3’s. They are tiny too. My 5’s are going strong and you can dial them back if needed.

GIven the level of controllability, you’ll be able to find the right amount of flow.

I have two 5s and one 3, the 3 needs far more maintenance/cleaning/restarting than the 5s combined.

I’m running a 3 on a 48” 60 gallon anemone tank. It’s great for that but I’d recommend a 5 for LPS. I’d have to run my 3 at 100% to come close to sufficient flow and I’d much rather run a 5 at 50%.
