Hey guys, i had my build thread about 12 months ago in some other website. I am using R2R more and more so decided to repost some of my build here

i started my first reef tank about 7 years ago. I had that tank for a year and move forced me to shut down and sell it.


Here we are 5 years later. About 3 months ago, i got a new 90 gallon tank. Sounded big, but it got filled quickly.. I am hooked and looking for something more. So i decided to go 300 gallon. I will post pic of my 90 gallons too.

So.. 6 years and 3 months later.. Lets get started.

The tank: 98 x 28 x 26 . Custom built euro braced. Starfire all sides.

Equipments:
Mix of radion G2 and G3 pros. 5 of them.
2 Vortech 60
Reef octopus Elite skimmer with DC motor. 9 inches
Calcium reactor
2 Nextreef reactors (phosphate) and carbon (when needed)
Adhi 60 sump
60 gallon acrylic (to sit on top of sump) for quick water changes
bubble magnus doser (when needed)
Tunze ato
Neptune apex gold controller

Working on new circuit.. i think this big boy is going to eat up lot of energy.

Rocks are cured..

Rocks cured without harming any fish.. Only 2 dead shrimps

Okay .. tank is filled and plumbing is mostly done.. here are latest pics.

Basic idea of the tank: Mixed reef.. far left side, under the overhang, there is low flow and low light. its going to be the chalice and acan area. Middle of the tank is suited for euphyllia.. i have bubble torches frogspawn and diff hammers there. as you go further left there is more intense light and more flow.. various sps.

The details now..

automatic water change. timed every week - automatically starts mixing water on friday afternoon 2 pm. And does auto change on saturday 2 pm.
