Making progress on the new tank. Went with a 36" square cube.

Nice tank! I think cubes are the best shape for a reef :)

Thanks woodard, Almost forgot salt... You think if I put the salt bucket in the tank with the hose in the bottom of the bucket it would mix well enough? I hate waiting for that darn ro unit to fill the trash cans!

I would not do it the water that comes out of the hose will not move the salt around alot and with the water being so cold I just don't think it will mix to good

That would cause what is called Hyper Salinity and ruin a good bucket of salt, The correct way to make salt water is by Slowly adding the salt to the water that has been brought to the proper temp and mixing it until it completly dissolves. The best way is to let it mix with a pump and heater for at least 24 hrs B4 use and check it for the correct salinity and KH/Ca levels if you want the best results. JMO
