Purchased this guy about 4 days ago. It was white with green mouths. It is now turning purple with the mouths still green. Is this good, bad, what does it mean? My parameters are good for sps keeping.

You shouldn't have any acropora that is white. That means that the coral is bleached. Looks like it's coloring back up in your tank. No worries! Keep it up!

I wouldn't say that's totally correct. Maybe not as much white as the OP but there are definitely acros that have white in their normal coloring.

Yea but they usually have multiple colors and not completely white. I guess clarification is needed.

True but what is happening with his coral is that it was bleached /starved so now that it's getting food and likes your tank it's getting it's color back. Keep it stable n it will be a beaut
