Thanks saltgator, this is the second time since I started my tank that I have had a new fish not make it within the first few days. I am hoping thst when I try my next one that my qt tank will be available. Have some rock rubble that I have been curing to put in the main for pod stations. I am hoping with the qt tank available might have a bit more success.

I definitely hear you on utilizing a qt. I had plenty of success (luck) many, many times previous, but I learned the hard way (losses and sick fish). Plus, ripping my DT down to catch the inhabitants is nothing short of a major chore. I just recently lost 2 fish (in qt) for unknown reasons. I ended up breaking down the qt and I'm in the process of rebuilding a more effective one. Keep us posted (I know you will, your a ''power poster'', lol) :) .

I picked up a bicolor angel from them, and since they just came in, the fish were still healthy.

Thanks Brad, will definitely keep everyone posted. Other than him not being very enthusiastic at feeding time and tending to hide he looked healthy, but can be hard to tell. Hoping that things go better on the next round.

Sorry to hear Barb! Never good to hear about casualties. Here is hoping that your next addition works out better!

My little guy I had talked about earlier in this post has disappeared in my tank... havent seen him for days so I am assuming the worst. I can sympathize whole heartedly!

I picked up a bicolor angel from them, and since they just came in, the fish were still healthy.

They had just come in on Friday so only had been in the store for two days. I had also had a green chromis that I had gotten when I got my first fish. That one I got the day they came in and had died in less than 24 hours. Which made me decide to wait a little before getting anything that just came in to try to lessen the chance of getting one that was too stressed out.

Sorry for the loss. :( hope the next one works out!

Thanks Mal I am hoping the next one works out better also.

Hopefully your guy makes a reappearance, I have heard of people having fish go mia for weeks and reappear again. Hoping that this will happen for you. The hardest part is not knowing and wondering and assuming the worse.
