New Ai Prime 16 HDs

I just got in some Ai primes 16 hds for my 40 breeder. The corals I have in there currently have just been growing under a cheap reef bar light so wondering what would be good light settings to get them used to the ai primes since the par is far higher than what this cheap thing was probably putting out. Also wanted to know what general schedule settings would be best once acclimated to the light. I saw the BRS recommendation vid but the white feels a bit bright.
