So... We have harvested an anemone from a local tide pool...don't worry we made sure it's 100% legal and we thought it was a condi anemone...but as it got settled into the tank...he's not a condi but he's a beautiful MOON anemone. Once he's fully established and after a nice feeding of krill and brine shrimp he will be a beautiful translucent green with a carpet anemone look but the tenticles of a wild anemone. I'll post a pic of what he looks like now...and a pic off Google of what he will look like after settling in. My pic is dark due to the lights and low quality phone but with the naked eye he looks like the second picture so far a couple of the other tank inhabitants brushed against him and didn't seem affected at all. We also collected 3 baby pistol shrimp. One blueish green one and two peach ones in a mated pair. My tank looks like it has random snow storms from the pistol shrimps making burrows... it's sooo coolll

Thank you. I'm very excited to see his temperament ect. I haven't found 1 for sale... But who knew they even existed. Ill have to do more ecstinsive research on the anemone. My pistol shrimp are loving the substrate. It always scares me when they get spooked and *pop* their claws.

It's a hermitt. Suprisingly I've watched the hermits and the coral banded get stuck to him and they didn't seem fased . He didn't try eating them. Thank goodness but we will see.
