Well I moved the anemone into a drilled bucket until the acclimation container gets here. It looks like there is some shredded tissue, is the clown eating it? Nothing else has been near it that I have seen the clown fish has been hovering.

How long can it stay in an enclosure?

weeks for sure. maroons are notoriously rough on their host anemone - and given the relative size of the maroon to the bta, this looks like has added to the nems acclimation issues. keep the clown off until the nem is inflating and acting normal.

Looks like a variety of problems. That Maroon is beating it up and you are likely having a stinging war between the nem and the other corals due to the small tank.

After the nem recovers a bit you can let is setting into the tank and put the clown into an acclimation box instead.

Well it was completely liquified inside the container when I got home from work today. Thankfully it didn’t leak out too bad, water levels are still the same .... just down $50 :(
