New anemone not moving

So this is the first ever anemone I’ve ever had. I’ve only had it for a day over 2 weeks, and it seems to be doing well. My only worry is that hasn’t moved since I placed it.

it is a rainbow bubble tip. It opens and closes with the lights, it reacts if mysis shrimp blows into it when I feed my fish, and the mouth is always closed. I’m just worried that it might not be getting the best amount of light down there towards the bottom.
I’m pretty sure moving it isn’t an option as the foot is in a small hole in the rock.

for an anemone that I’ve read is the marathon runner of anemones this one is pretty’s sedentary. My only guess is that it’s still getting used to the tank and I might just have to be patient. What do you guys think?

Consider yourself lucky that it likes where it is! Hopefully you havent jinxed it haha If it wasn't happy with it's location it would've moved already

It’ll move if it wants to. When I first added my RBTA, it didn’t move for over a month, and then it moved constantly for a few months, and now it seems to have settled in at the top of my rock work. So long as it’s extending its polyps and looks healthy, I wouldn’t worry about it.

It looks OK to me. It will move when ready. I had one crawl across a large monti. I expected the worst. Not one polyp was damaged. Yours looks happy but don't be surprised if it moves to the back where you can't see it. Lol

That’s a good thing
Moving is a sign of it being stressed due to too much light and/or water flow
